Make it Monday #168

Well I didn't have any chalk, so time to get out my gelatos with their sponge applicator.  This is only the second or third time I've tried them and the effect was great!  I found this impression plate that I had never used and when I sponged the impression the gelatos I was so happy with all the wonderful words of encouragement that showed up that I only had the heart to stamp one third of the card with Flowers.  I added a tiny bit of bling but didn't want it to take away from this lovely message.

Paper: PTI Aqua Mist and Stampers Select White
Inks: Hibiscus Burst, Aqua Mist, Orange Zest, RasberryFizz
Impression Plate:  PTI

  1. This is really awesome! I'm so glad you used your gelato's because that's what I wanted to use but wasn't sure how it would look. I'm so inspired now! I can't wait to play this challenge. I really like how the words are so visible too.

  2. Wow, your gelatos look fabulous! Great idea to leave it partially open so you can see the words, but I love the effect of the flowers in the corner!

  3. Fabulous color - love that you didn't cover up those words of encouragement with flowers! I am off to check out that impression plate - not sure I remember that one.

  5. Great card! I don't remember this impression plate at all, but what a wonderful choice to minimize the flowers to let the background shine through. Beautifully done, Polly.
